Using of benchmarking approach for analysis of pension savings investment quality in Russia

Authors carried out comparison of investment assets profitability of mandatory pension insurance with respect of a rate of inflation and interest rates and also profitability of share and bond indexes in Russia. The article identifies factors of a divergence of results of pension savings management and dynamics of market indicators, and also provides the quantitative assessment of each factor impact. The carried-out analysis allowed formulating measures for an increase of profitability and decreasing risks of pension savings investment in Russia.
