The developed countries consider the population health now as one of the major indicators in the evaluation system of social and economic development level. The further development of the healthcare system in Russia for the period until 2020 is connected with a number of global trends which even now lead to structural reorganizations of the healthcare system. Thus, healthcare system modernization should encompass all directions providing the Russian healthcare system evolution according to the trends, determining the developed countries future.
