The article considers the subway place in city transport system and its social and economic values for satisfaction of passenger's demand. The author allocates the main components of services quality. She presents the concept "quantification of social and economic efficiency of the subway" and the algorithm for its implementation. The paper reveals the principles for an assessment of transport services quality.
