In the work by means of functions various aspects of essence and development of personal finance are analyzed, the structure of the functional mechanism of personal finance is defined. The conclusion is drawn that as an initial position in functioning of personal finance the motivation of the individual in satisfaction of own vital needs by means of personal financial resources acts. Development of personal finance reaches the limit value at self-updating of the personality.
