In the article various aspects of innovative and investment activity in the studied region are analyzed, the most effective forms of functioning of institutes of regional growth are defined. The conclusion is drawn that in modern conditions creation of institutional structure of the region taking into account the principles of ensuring stability of functioning of institutes of development can become a basis for realization of strategy of innovative development of the region.
