The current state of agricultural insurance necessitates compilation of methods and tools for agricultural risk-management as well as technologies that can be used by manufacturers, both independently and with government support. State support may focus not only on the allocation of funds from the budget. In the article a summary of the insurance of agricultural risks income countries and the main trends of regulation of agricultural risks in Russia are presented.
