Defining the role and places of commercial banks on securities market

In the article the attempts to define the role and place of the commercial banks on the Russian securities market in quantitative and qualitative parameters are presented. It is concluded that at the present stage of development the commercial banks that act as issuers, investors and intermediaries occupy a very important place in the domestic stock market.
