The article proposes the complex relative assessment method of the financial status of the RF regions, aiming at the efficiency improvement of the inter-budgetary relations and government quality of the regional finances. The method is based on the standardized indicator calculation, combining the quality characteristics of the particular elements of the regional consolidated budget.
