The article is devoted to the study of balance of the Russian system of insurance that, as the whole economic system is in a state of reformation. Insurance is the developing branch leaning against the huge, almost not mastered market, having in Russia the big future. The basis for such forecast is that in many developed countries of the world the insurance companies on the sizes of the capital concentrated in them stand on a level with banks and are important branch of financial sector of economy.
