In the article the mechanisms of seigniorage in different types of money, including the money withdrawn from circulation on obligatory reserves of the commercial credit organizations in Bank of Russia are considered. Size calculation of seigniorage of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation is made. The methods of possible withdrawal of seigniorage in the federal budget are given.
