Perspectives of development the global currency system in view of global financial crisis of 2007-2009

In the article the deep reasons which have caused the world financial crisis are considered. The special attention is given to monetary policy of US authorities in 1990-2000 and to its influence on expansion of crisis processes. The author considers the system of global currency relationship through a prism of financial and currency policy of leading western powers. The analysis of development of crisis and its influence on world currency system comes to the end with an assessment of prospects of its post-crisis development.
