Results of activity of the companies depend on efficiency of use of the intellectual capital (IK) as creation of cost is closely connected with distribution and application of knowledge. In the article the current state of empirical researches of measurement of IK is analyzed. As a result restrictions of existing works are formulated and the directions of further researches are offered.
