The conditions and prospects of modern art market development by using the selected evaluation indicators are researched in the article. The characteristic of art market indexes and analysis of the dynamics of their values, in comparison with the dynamics of one of the leading stock market indexes are made. The analysis of high rates of growth of capitalization, profitability and investment attractiveness of art market are revealed
