In the article problems of an estimation of economic development of regions and municipal unions are investigated, the concept a total municipal product as the indicator of an estimation of social and economic development of municipalities is entered, and also the information and logical model of the mechanism of regulation of social and economic development of administrative-territorial formations is offered.
