It is found the main content of the concept of «branding» and a basic criteria of assessment of brand equity. It is described the factors influencing the formation of brands. It is built the system of tools of branding trade mark. It is constructed distribution tools of trade mark. Shows the dynamics of economic indicators of the food industry, for which defines the system of branding tools.
