Impact on social welfare increase of government programs: the method of Gini source decomposition

In the article the mechanism of calculation of the expanded index of Gini on income and consumption sources is shown and possibilities of its use for the analysis of the reached level of public welfare at regional level are marked. On the basis of the received values of factors of elasticity of an index of Gini the conclusion about priority directions of a social and economic policy of region is done.
