Qualitative methods used to analyze financial stability of an insurer

The problem of financial stability of an insurer is discussed in the article. The authors propose their own system of indicators that allows estimating financial stability of an insurer without complex calculations. Some qualitative criteria of financial stability are proposed in the article. Each of them went through the procedure of testing statistical hypothesis based on two groups of insurers - 50 leaders and 50 bankrupts.
