Is substantiated the urgency of the formation of the organizational mechanisms, which ensure interaction of the system of formation and economy of region. Questions of an increase in the synergy as the result of the strategic development of the university complex of region are examined. The coordinating role of university complex in the process of the strategic development of the economy of region is reflected.
