Important condition of positive dynamics of regional economic system is the authentic estimation of financial resources and timely working out of directions of rational use of budgetary funds. Use of existing techniques of an estimation of tax potential is expedient for considering as a part of procedure of the analysis of the retrospective, current and perspective economic information, and also financial stability of region.
