The analysis of modern methods of strategic planning of activity of the business organization at its stages is carried out. Lacks of used tools of strategic planning of a development cycle business and segment strategy are revealed. The author's approach to working out business and segment strategy of the business organizations of the highest level is offered. The system of key strategic indicators for working out business and segment strategy is proved.
