In article laws of development of retail bank business are formulated and considered, stages of its formation in Russia are studied. Stability of relations between the phenomena connected with development and management by retail bank business at all times of existence of a banking in Russia is revealed. It is proved, that retail bank business today is allocated as the independent direction demanding construction of accurate system of quality, management and the control.
