Banking system adequacy to the requirements of international financial centre

The article considers the definition of the international financial centre ( IFC), the criterion determined and the key factors of such adequacy are examined and estimated. The author comes to the conclusion that banking system of Russia is not adequate to the international financial centre requirements under existing monetary, institutional and legal conditions.
