New wage system in university: the status and prospects

In the paper the structure of new wage system has been analyzed, the major problems of transition to this system have been identified, a comparative analysis of wage systems of leading universities in Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk region have been produced. It is concluded that the best and universal method for the evaluation of university personnel is a rating of professional activity.
