Approaches to the theoretical rationale of the world currency

In connection with the crisis in the world economy, the problem of replacing the dollar to a more stable world currency has recently gained greater urgency. In the present work existing proposals on the introduction of a fairer world currency are studied. The phenomenon of world money and its relation to the category of value are studied on the basis of the achievements of general systems theory, thermodynamics, evolutionary economic theory, etc. Introduced the concept of entropy of the man, analyzed the connection between this notion and the value of goods and the quality of life. The possibility of using this category for the theoretical rationale for a global currency - «entrop» is showed. Some aspects of the introduction of the new world currency are developed.
