The situation of developing in Europe at the beginning of the third millennium, is in own way unique. The European states are united by the general democratic values. All it creates preconditions for building of safe and prospering Europe. Relations with the European states are a traditional priority of foreign policy of Russia. Such processes as the further expansion of EU, the euro statement as uniform European currency appreciably affect conditions development in scales of all continents and will define in many respects its shape in the XXI-st century. Abundantly clear that Russia as the integral part of the all-European space cannot stand aside of these processes.
