Current situation in the Russian banking sector in the light of macro-economic conditions

Associations of regional banks of Russia (Association “Russia”) jointly with the Consulting group “Banks. Finances. Investments” held a questionnaire on questions urgent for commercial banks in conditions of economic and financial crisis. Participants of the questionnaire evaluated anti-crisis measures of the state, found out most essential factors affecting activity of banks in conditions of deficiency of liquidity and worsening of quality of credit portfolios.
     The suggested review contains analysis of current trends of development of Russian economy and banking sector of the country.
