Features of centralization of banking capital in Russia

In the article scientific and theoretical aspects and specific features of bargains of mergers and acquisitions in the banking sector of Russia are disclosed. At the same time mergers and acquisitions are considered in the context of analysis of processes of centralization of banking capital and their interconnection with concentration of capital. The author concludes that features of the process of centralization of banking capital in Russia are connected with activity of foreign capital and banks under governmental control, carelessness and rashness to conclude bargains by Russian banks in conditions of lack of information necessary to make decisions, dependence from loan financing, transactions in interests of owners.
