Subject. A segment of copyrighted, exclusive products with high artistic value. Objectives. Systematization of models of state support for the jewelry industry, stimulation of the copyright sector in the leading countries of world exports for the subsequent development of recommendations and the formation of an effective model for the promotion of domestic precious jewelry on the world market. Methods. The study is based on a comparative and systematic analysis of regulatory legal acts of foreign countries, statistical data from the International Trade Center, the World's Top Exports project, as well as industry reviews and expert publications for 2024-2026. Results. The analysis demonstrates the differences in government approaches to the development of the jewelry industry. Four models of government support have been identified: Italian (cluster-based, with a focus on the recognition of jewelry by the cultural industry), Indian (export-oriented, infrastructural), Chinese (two-tier: national strategy plus regional subsidies) and Qatari (creation of an exhibition ecosystem). Conclusions. An increase in Russian jewelry exports is achievable. Borrowing and adapting the considered international practices can become the basis for the formation of an effective policy to support the author's jewelry and strengthen Russia's position in the prestigious segment of the global jewelry industry.
