Subject. Optimization of warehouse logistics as a key factor in increasing the competitiveness of transport and logistics systems, taking into account the interconnection of technological, organizational and managerial decisions.
Objectives. Identification of directions for optimizing warehouse logistics and substantiation of their impact on the competitiveness of transport and logistics systems.
Methods. The research is based on the methods of systematic and comparative analysis, the method of evaluating the effectiveness of warehouse operations, as well as on the generalization of the results of scientific research by Russian and foreign authors.
Results. The directions of warehouse logistics optimization are systematized in five groups (technological, organizational, managerial, personnel, digital). A quantitative assessment of the impact of the introduction of warehouse management and robotics systems on warehouse efficiency is given. A model of the relationship between the optimization of warehouse processes and key factors of competitiveness of transport and logistics systems has been developed.
Conclusions. Optimization of warehouse logistics provides a multiplicative effect, manifested in reducing costs, improving the quality of service, reducing order processing time and creating the basis for the introduction of advanced technologies. The developed recommendations can be used in forming strategies for the development of warehouse complexes and evaluating the effectiveness of investments in the warehouse infrastructure of transport and logistics systems.
