Subject. Human capital and other types of capital used to ensure sustainable socio-ecological and economic development.
Objectives. The study of the features of the use and transformation of human and other types of capital from the perspective of a human-centered approach in the context of the formation of the bioeconomy of Russia.
Methods. Systematics of bioeconomic activities and related biological products using content analysis of domestic and foreign literature, as well as methods of information synthesis and systematization.
Results. The roles of human and other types of capital that are used in achieving socio-ecological and economic development are identified and systematically characterized. The main directions of bioeconomical activity as conditions for rational use of natural resources and efficient use of natural resources are summarized. The principles, factors and conditions for the formation of bioeconomics as a direction of economic activity capable of ensuring the transition to sustainable socio-ecological and economic development are defined. The approaches to determining the characteristics of human capital in the context of the development of bioeconomics are systematically presented. Based on the conducted research, the reciprocal interaction of human capital and bioeconomics has been determined.
Conclusions. The discovered reciprocal relationships between human capital and bioeconomics indicate their important role in achieving the goals of sustainable ecological, socio-economic development. Bioeconomics is a promising area for organizing modern economic activities, and human capital makes a significant contribution to this activity by increasing human knowledge and skills, taking into account the use of relevant medical, pharmaceutical, environmental and food biotechnologies that promote human health and ensure the well-being of the population.
