The book by N.I. Sasaev Strategizing the Russian Gas Industry: The Far Eastern Vector provides a concept of strategy for the gas industry of the Russian Far East, which is aimed at creating favorable conditions for realizing the potential of the macroregion in the context of its integrated socio-economic development for the period up to 2035 and a longer-term perspective. The final result is a multiple improvement of the quality and standard of living in the macroregion due to the functioning of the gas industry as an innovative driver of the regional economy, which is formed through the implementation of six strategic priorities. The presented materials will be of interest to federal and regional development authorities, as they could serve as the conceptual foundation for a driver strategy to achieve national objectives of macro-regional significance.
