Subject. The article discusses international integration and one of its directions, i.e. cooperation within the framework of China's global strategy "One Belt, One Road".
Objectives. The aim is to analyze the impact of the global initiative "One Belt, One Road" on the dynamics of macroeconomic indicators of participating countries.
Methods. The study employs methods of economic and mathematical modeling and statistical analysis.
Results. I performed a comparative analysis of economic development indicators of 73 countries participating in infrastructure projects, unveiled the specific features and general characteristics of the current status of these States. Six groups of countries were identified from the participants in the "One Belt, One Road" strategy, with different level of development of transport infrastructure indicators and the efficiency of using its facilities. The use of an adapted decile coefficient enabled to determine the dependence of indicators of social stratification of the population on the state of transport infrastructure and the pace of its development.
Conclusions. Participation in system-forming projects contributes to significant multiplier effect of an increase in macroeconomic indicators, and ensures a change in the format of countries' participation in international cooperation.

Keywords: "One belt, one road", international cooperation, infrastructure project, logistics efficiency index, transport infrastructure development index
