Subject. The article explores features of stimulating private investment in interregional industrial projects. Objectives. The aim is to the main aspects of stimulating private investment in interregional industrial projects. Methods. The research rests on the analysis of scientific and practical provisions, synthesis of opinions, generalization, selection of statistical data, general and specific methods of cognition, general scientific research methods. Results. The paper highlights factors and conditions that influence the development trends in investment processes. I examined the situation of ensuring the investment and innovation attractiveness of interregional industrial projects, made conclusions and assumptions regarding the possibilities to increase the importance of private investment in projects of various types. The paper offers a variant of transformation of the strategic management mechanism based on a change in the target mechanism and algorithm for managing such projects. Conclusions. The findings are applicable for further study of demand for private investment in support of interregional industrial projects.
