Subject The article addresses the infrastructure component of the Digital Economy national program.
Objectives I study the polysemy of the Digital Economy term, define its economic substance, perform the semantic analysis of infrastructure component of the Digital Economy national program, identify hidden factors influencing the level of program implementation.
Methods The study employs methods of systems approach, classification, lexical, semantic, comparative and expert analysis.
Results The paper focuses on essential technological and economic characteristics of the digital economy concept, shows the relationship between the digital economy and the new digital technological mode, justifies the need for State participation in the creation of digital infrastructure, defines the purpose and content of infrastructure sections of the Digital Economy national program.
Conclusions The Digital Economy national program is a comprehensive plan for accelerated transition of domestic economy to a new technological mode. The program implementation involves difficulties of different nature. It will require extraordinary management decisions, especially in the area of electronic equipment production and digital transformation of enterprises to overcome the challenges.
