Subject The study deals with the processes of management activities in the interaction of medical industry enterprises (MIE) and health care facilities (HCF) in the environment of the integrated structure of a medical-technical cluster (MTC).
     Objectives
The aim of the study is to analyze the main provisions of the management methodology of organizational and economic stability (OES) and competitiveness of MIE and HCF based on the concepts of engineering logistics and institutional theory to ensure synergetic effects in the MTC integrated structure.
     Methods
I reviewed academic and research publications, conference proceedings, Internet sites, and media publications in this area. I applied the analysis and synthesis of the predicted results of implementing cluster structures in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry to produce synergetic effects in the integrated activities of MIE and HCF to solve the general problem.
     Results
The research shows the dependence of the efficiency of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry development on applied socio-economic business patterns. Based on the provisions of engineering logistics and institutional theory, I have developed a classification of economic and social performance indicators of integrated economic structures in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
Conclusions and Relevance The effectiveness of healthcare development depends on the level of both the public funding and economic systems that determine its operation, including those resting on the principles of institutional theory and engineering logistics. It is expedient to apply the results of the study in such integrated business structures, scientific and educational centers providing training and professional development of specialists in the new and existing areas of medicine and medical technology development.
