Integral estimation and forecasting of innovation potential of the Volga Federal District regions

The article presents the research and forecasting results of the main indicators of innovation activity of the Volga Federal District regions. The author has developed a methodological approach to building an integrated estimation of innovation potential of a region and justifying managerial decisions on the potential improvement to work out strategies for enhancing the competitiveness of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation.
