The article examines the state of entrepreneurship from the perspective of its impact on the level of interregional economic integration processes. The article highlights the role and value of small and medium-sized enterprises in the development and operation of an innovative economy, and challenges to the development of innovative entrepreneurship, including, on the one hand, insufficient State financial support for innovations in the business environment, on the other hand, the low level of interest in developing and using the latest technical achievements. The paper says the development of private business has not become a benchmark of high innovation activityyet. The article notes the need to strengthen financial and organizational support from the public authorities of the initiative innovation of business structure and limit the growth of tariffs for energy resources.
