The article provides the analysis of the mechanism of a raw-material export model of the economy on the basis of a booming sector concept. The article estimates the influence of export income on the increase of domestic demand and its allocation between sectors. The authors conclude on the exhaustion of the growth potential of the Russian economy in the framework of export commodity models.
