This article deals with the analysis of the government support measures to strengthen university-industry interaction in 23 European Union countries. The paper selects indicators on the level of university-enterprise collaborations. The work identifies strengths and weaknesses of public programs in various European countries. The author examines sources of funding joint projects between universities and enterprises. The author makes conclusions about trends in government programs to support the cooperation of universities and enterprises.
