Small business development: the trends and situation in the economy of the Tambov region

The article presents an analysis of the small business development in the Tambov region. The study includes a comparison of the branch structures of small businesses abroad, on the average in Russia and in the Tambov region. The author evaluates the dynamics of gross value added by structural branches. The evaluation of the business development trends in the region is based on the analysis of the indicators describing the financial condition of the companies. The paper submits the forecast of the business development in the region that is based on the regression models.
