The methods to forecast a demand for specialists in the higher professional education system of a region

The article analyzes the approaches to determination of a regional labour-markets demand for the specialists of different educational levels. It also says of the advantages and disadvantages of the methodical tools used in the home and foreign practice. The author presents certain methods to determine a regional labour-markets demand for the qualified personnel with higher education, based on the actual and projected figures of the region's economy development. The methods propose to set up the quotas for admission to the higher education establishments.
