The main way of achieving the strategic goal of sustainable development is the implementation of the strategic national priorities. Devising strategy of economic development requires a systematic analysis to evaluate the global and domestic economic situation, identify the needs of the population and its counterparties in the world economy. This article is devoted to the study of the problems of the methodology of the strategic analysis.
