In the article the features of analytical model of controlling, its elements and tools are defined. The need of broad application of methods of the business analysis for controlling is proved. On the example of the company of holding type specifics of application of analytical model of controlling for performance management and efficiency of business, and the risks connected from their achievement is given. Advantages of use of tools of the business analysis in the conditions of an unstable condition of an economic environment are formulated and its opportunities on the example of the large Russian company are illustrated.
