In article the current situation of the recreational sphere of Bashkortostan is analyzed, the main problems and prospects of its development are revealed. It is defined that effective use of natural and recreational capacity of the region should become the perspective direction of development of the republic which will provide fast return in the form of realization of additional volumes of made production and rendered services, increases of employment, level and quality of life of local population.
