In the article the procedure of the estimation of effectiveness level of the forms of the economic activity of the industry of Russia is proposed. Procedure considers the innovation activity of organizations. The constructed classification models can serve as basis during control of the level of the expenditures for production and sale to production (goods, works, services) and create the conditions for an increase in the competitive ability of economic subjects.
