In the article the analysis of the domestic and foreign procedures of the estimation of the effectiveness of investment projects is carried out. The need of developing of new models and methods of evaluating the expediency of investment into the project is proved. The author's procedure of the estimation of the effectiveness of investment projects is proposed.
