In the article the reasons and consequences of "brain drain" and labor migration of young people, "gold genofund" Ukraine are investigated. Data of the sociological research conducted at the Ukrainian universities, giving an idea about depth, scales and threats of the migratory processes which have captured the country are analyzed.
