National infrastructure: nature and management of its development

In the article the analysis of available approaches to understanding of the concept «infrastructure» is carried out. On the basis of the presented statistical data the conclusion is drawn on the need of advancing development of infrastructure branches as most important source of growth of competitiveness of national economy. A number of the principles, system following which will promote a sustainable development of infrastructure is offered.
