The analysis of the problems and prospects of development of leasing in Russia is made. The research is based on the analysis statistical yielded and results of poll of the leasing companies. The factors influencing activity of the leasing companies and development of leasing as a source of financing of investments are revealed. Influence of leasing on the volumes of investment into national economy is investigated. The problems interfering and constraining development of leasing in the country, and the perspective directions of development of the leasing relations in Russia are presented.
