In the article the structure of sources of financial security of higher education institution, a role of off-budget sources in modern social and economic conditions, efficiency of the business and other activity which is bringing in the income to higher education institution are considered. The attention to profitability indicators is paid, to structure of financial result, the analysis of performance of planned indicators, dynamics and structure of off-budget receipts in a section of types of economic activity and types of services.
